Slager Laughed About Adrenaline Rush

Caught on audio.

North Charleston police officer Michael Slager’s dashcam continued to record for about an hour after he pulled over and then killed Walter Scott. On the recording, a senior officer tells Slager to jot down notes about his version of what happened after his adrenaline stops pumping, to which Slager responds, laughing, “It’s pumping.” In another snippet of recorded conversation, Slager appears to make a phone call during which he tells someone that Walter Scott had grabbed his taser. A spokesperson for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division was not able to definitely confirm that the officer on the recording is Slager but said it “appears that way.”
