Small Planes Collide in Alaska

Four people killed.

Two single-engine float planes hit each other Saturday as they flew near an Alaskan lake 80 miles north of Anchorage. One crashed and burned, killing the four people aboard, while the second plane landed safely. The crash came three weeks after two small planes collided near Anchorage and, remarkably, landed without significant damage or injury.
