Two small planes collided in the air above Amber Lake in Alaska on Saturday, with one of the planes crashing and catching fire. It was not immediately clear whether the occupants survived the crash. The other plane, a Cessna 206, was able to keep flying and land safely at Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage. The second plane only suffered a damaged float. The pilot decided to continue on to Anchorage because Amber Lake has limited capabilities for dealing with emergencies.
