An Associated Press reporter Thursday witnessed unarmed protesters being shot to death by snipers from the Ukrainian government, which sounds like something from World War II. "The demonstrators were killed with precise shots to their heads or necks, the hallmarks of snipers," Yuras Karmanau wrote. "Why are they killing them? The protesters had no firearms that I could see, and snipers could have instead incapacitated them by shooting their feet or arms." Others who've been wounded are staying away from hospitals for fear they'll be arrested by police.
