A snowstorm slammed the Northeast this weekend, dumping up to 13 inches of snow in some areas and causing “blizzard-like” conditions in Maine on Sunday. The storm continued to crawl north on Sunday, with at least seven inches on snow expected in New England and 18 inches predicted for poor Maine. Central Pennsylvania and southern New York were hit hard on Saturday, with nearly a foot of snow in some areas. Multiple accidents were reported in the Midwest, and airlines were forced cancel some 1,200 flights. The last of the snow is supposed to turn into rain around midday Sunday.
