Looks like we’re still trying to figure out who, exactly, Edward Snowden is. In an interview with Brian Williams that will air Wednesday, Snowden revealed that he wasn’t just the lowly systems administrator he has been portrayed as. “I was trained as a spy in sort of the traditional sense of the word, in that I lived and worked undercover overseas—pretending to work in a job that I’m not—and even being assigned a name that was not mine,” he said, noting that he was even a lecturer in a counterintelligence academy for the Defense Intelligence Agency. Intelligence sources told NBC that Snowden was working overseas in IT and communications for the CIA. Meanwhile, Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday called National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden a fugitive and challenged him to "man up and come back to the United States."
