The road to the Oscars is a horse race again now that The Social Network and True Grit won the Film Editors and Sound Mixers’ awards, respectively, a change from The King’s Speech’s dominance of the last few Guild awards. The American Cinema Editor’s ACE Eddie Awards in particular, which The Social Network won, are a bellwether for who will win Best Picture.
