Sources: Ailes Thinks Palin Is an ‘Idiot’

Fox News chief “worried” about future.

So this is how Roger Ailes treats his employees? According to a bombshell New York magazine cover story, the Fox News chief says he thinks star anchor and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is an “idiot.” “He thinks she’s stupid,” a source told New York magazine. “He helped boost her up. People like Sarah Palin haven’t elevated the conservative movement.” The article alleges that Ailes wants to put a Republican in the White House, but he is unimpressed with the current crop of candidates. “Roger is worried about the future of our country,” the source said. The piece’s author, Gabriel Sherman, is writing a book on Fox News for Random House.
