The snow’s heading down South: States from Texas to the Carolinas are bracing for a harsh winter storm on Sunday that promises to dump several inches of snow, along with freezing rain and sleet. In Atlanta, hundreds of flights have already been canceled at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, the world’s busiest hub; Atlanta is expected to receive 3-5 inches of snow. Elsewhere, grocery stores are packed—from Nashville, where the forecast calls for 5 inches of snow, to western North Carolina, which may get up to a foot. The storm is expected to hit the Northeast on Tuesday or Wednesday.
