The launch of Elon Musk’s SpaceX reusable rocket was aborted mid-countdown at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Tuesday morning. The Falcon 9 rocket, which was supposed to send 5,000 pounds of food and science experiments to the International Space Station, suffered a mechanical issue involving “actuator drift,” according to a NASA official. It is considered a temporary delay and another launch will be attempted on Friday morning. On Oct. 28, another private supply ship meant to deliver NASA services exploded seconds after leaving the launchpad.
