Er, break a leg? The beleaguered Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has found a new actress for the lead role of Arachne after Natalie Mendoza quit the show last week. Mendoza was injured in a November performance. The character will be taken over by T.V. Carpio, who was previously a member of the show’s “Geek Chorus” and sometimes played Arachne during previews. Carpio debuted on Broadway in 2006 in Rent.
