Authorities are investigating former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer for an alleged assault at a Manhattan hotel. The alleged incident took place at the Plaza Hotel on Saturday, CBS reports. Spitzer has not been charged but investigators are trying to establish the identity of the subject and the nature of the incident. The former governor resigned in 2008 in the wake of a prostitution scandal.
