Spotted: Ryan Buying Daughter Hunting Gear

The election may be in full swing but Paul Ryan won’t let politics get in the way of one of his favorite times of year: deer-hunting season! The vice-presidential candidate was spotted making a pit stop at a Bass Pro Shop while in Ohio campaigning with running mate Mitt Romney. He was there to outfit his eldest daughter, 10-year-old Liza, with the proper hunting garb to go along with the rifle she got for Christmas last year. “She’s hunted with me but this is the first time she gets to do the hunting herself.” Last month Ryan attempted to portray President Obama as out of touch by reminding the public of his 2008 comment that “people like to cling to their guns and their religion.” Ryan quipped: “Hey, I’m a Catholic deer hunter. I am happy to be clinging to my guns and my religion.”
