The search for R. Allen Stanford, the alleged $8 billion conman, has ended. ABC News is reporting that he has been located in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and has handed his passport over to authorities. According to one of his lobbyists, Stanford is "very depressed" and approached officials directly at the Justice Department. It is unclear where he was hiding. He has also hired top criminal-defense lawyer Brendan Sullivan, who defended former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens.
