George Lucas refuses to put his cash cows to rest: He’s planning to re-release all six Star Wars films—even the bad ones—in 3D, according to The Hollywood Report. He’ll start with Episode 1, The Phantom Menace in 2012 and then release them in consecutive order, one per year. Lucas says he’ll need one year to convert each film to 3D, and that Avatar convinced him to bring the Star Wars films to 3D.
