A Court of Special Appeals in Baltimore issued a stay on the motion that would force Officer William Porter to testify in Officer Caesar Goodson's trial following the death of Freddie Gray. Goodson was driving the vehicle in which Gray sustained his fatal injuries last April. A judge wrote in the stay order that prosecutors have not had the chance to respond an injunction that Porter's attorney's filed Thursday, one day after another judge issued an order to make Porter testify. In Gray's death, Goodson faces charges of second-degree depraved heart murder, second-degree assault, two counts of vehicular manslaughter, manslaughter, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office.
