Stefano Pilati Lands at Zegna; Musical Chairs at Women's Mags

Revolving Door: Ermenegildo Zegna announced this morning that they’ve hired former YSL creative director Stefano Pilati to head up their menswear and womenswear collections, effective the first of this year. As The New York Times' Eric Wilson writes that at Zegna, Pilati have "a little more freedom to work as he sees fit, without the specter of Saint Laurent," and will have "have room to experiment in women's wear." Musical Chairs: Lots of changes at women's mags this morning: Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles will become the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan. Current Cosmo editor Kate White will stay on as a consultant at Hearst. And Anne Fulenwide, editor of Brides, is going to replace Coles at Marie Claire. [The Daily Beast]
The It Brits: The British Fashion Council has released it’s monimees for the 2012 BFC Fashion Awards. Among the mentions are big names like Stella McCartney (who leads the pack with three nods), critical favorites like Erdem and Christopher Kane, and models like Olympic star Jourdan Dunn.
