Steve Ballmer is about to find out what induction into the NBA owners club is like. On Tuesday, the former Microsoft CEO's $2 billion bid for the Los Angeles Clippers was officially cleared. The sale was approved after a California court confirmed that Donald Sterling's wife, Shelly, had the authority to sell the team. Donald is still expected to appeal the ruling. "I am humbled and honored to be the new owner of the Los Angeles Clippers," Ballmer said in a statement. "Clipper fans are so amazing. They have remained fiercely loyal to our franchise through some extraordinary times."
