Steve Bannon will appear on CBS News’s 60 Minutes on Sunday, his first television interview since leaving his position as President Trump’s chief strategist. Bannon, who has rarely given press interviews, has since returned to his pre-Trump role as executive chairman of far-right outlet Breitbart News. Often seen as representing nationalist ideologues in the White House, Bannon resigned his position just a few days after President Trump took immense heat for saying “both sides” were to blame for the deadly white-supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
