Steve Carell Joins Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon for Apple TV Show
This is Carell’s first series regular role since his iconic run on “The Office” ended in 2011.

Steve Carell, the funnyman from The Office, is officially returning to television, as he joins the cast of Apple’s currently untitled morning-show drama. Carell will star alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in the show, which Apple has already picked up for two seasons with a 20-episode order. Carell will play Mitch Kessler, a morning-show anchor who is struggling to maintain relevance in a changing media landscape. The role marks Carell’s first regular series role since his departure from The Office in 2011. A premiere date is currently unknown.
