Steve Scalise Re-Admitted to ICU in Serious Condition

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was re-admitted to the intensive-care unit at a Washington, D.C. hospital on Wednesday night. MedStar Washington Hospital Center officials said Scalise is listed in serious condition and was re-admitted “due to concerns for infection.” Scalise was critically injured last month when a gunman opened fire on Republican lawmakers practicing for an annual congressional baseball game.
