An Oregon man died Monday while attempting to take a photo in a tree, according to NBC News. Steven Gastelum, 43, of Seaside, was hiking on Devil’s Cauldron trail in a state park 90 miles west of Oregon along the coast. Gastelum fell to his death when a branch in the tree he’d climbed broke, sending him 100 feet into the ocean. The Coast Guard and nearby fire department found him in the water, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
