Stevie Nicks Admits Eagles Pregnancy

Coming Clean

Almost had child with Don Henley.

In an interview with Billboard, Stevie Nicks confirmed her former pregnancy with Eagles’ frontman Don Henley in the 1970s. Henley had previously said the Fleetwood Mac song “Sara” was inspired by the baby they would have had. “Had I married Don and had that baby, and had she been a girl, I would have named her Sara,” said Nicks. “But there was another woman in my life named Sara, who shortly after that became Mick's wife, Sara Fleetwood. It's [Henley's account] accurate, but not the entirety of it.” She also spoke candidly about her cocaine problem, saying a doctor once told her in the 1980’s that if she did one more line she’d “have a brain hemorrhage.”
