Still No Winners in AK, WA Senate

If you’re sad the midterm elections are over, here’s some good news for you: The Senate races in Alaska and Washington are still undecided, and the winners may not be announced for weeks to come. The three-way race in Alaska that pitted incumbent Lisa Murkowski as a write-in candidate against Republican—and Sarah Palin favorite—Joe Miller and Democrat Scott McAdams will not be counted for a few more weeks. (McAdams, however, had already conceded on Wednesday.) In Washington, Democrat Patty Murray holds a small lead over Republican challenger Dino Rossi, but up to one million ballots are left to be counted.
