It might be time to get out the cookbook and learn to make a turkey yourself rather than travel this Thanksgiving. A deadly winter storm is expected to slam into the Northeast on Wednesday, the busiest travel day of the year. “This is a lethal combination for weather in the Northeast,” said Tom Niziol, a weather expert for the Weather Channel. Winds of 50-60 mph are expected in New York City and Boston on Tuesday night into Wednesday, and as many as 600 flights were already canceled by Monday. The storm system is moving out of the Southeast, and it’s expected to team up with a cold front over the Great Lakes before slamming into the Northeast.
