A pregnant woman was shot dead by a bullet intended for another target in Philadelphia on Sunday. Her child was delivered by emergency Cesarean section, but he died as well. Megan Doto, 26, was sitting outside when a bullet meant for someone else struck her in the face. Neighbors say she frequently read outside and was excited for the arrival of her baby, who she planned to name Carmine Joseph. According to her Facebook profile, on which she posted several sonograms, her due date was Oct. 15. The shooting is under investigation but no arrests have been made yet.
