It's gearing up to be a truly heartwarming Olympics in Sochi. A pest control company said they have a contract to “catch and dispose” of more stray dogs in preparation for the winter games. It is unclear how they are killing the dogs or what they are doing with the carcasses. It is apparently common practice in Russia to shoot stray dogs. Alexei Sorokin, director general of the pest control firm Basya Services, said it's a “commercial secret” how many dogs the company kills, but stressed that the canines pose a major safety hazard. "A dog ran into the Fisht Stadium, we took it away," he said. "God forbid something like this happens at the actual opening ceremony. This will be a disgrace for the whole country.
