Student Shot at Indiana University

CAMPUS ALERT

Victim and shooter knew each other.

A student was shot Saturday evening in the residential dorms at Indiana State University in Terre Haute. The victim, a second year student, was taken to a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. The victim and the shooter knew each other, and they had spent over an hour together that day, according to police. The shooter fled the scene, but police do not believe the campus is threatened. They also said they do not believe shooter intended to target anyone else. Over 13,000 students attend the western Indiana university. The news of the shooting comes as police are trying to deal with another campus incident, the disappearance of University of Virginia student Hannh Graham.
