The American Academy of Pediatrics released a large-scale study on Saturday revealing that boys in the United States are entering puberty sooner than historical counterparts. The current benchmark for the beginning of puberty in boys is 11.5 years old, but now it seems the series of changes is occurring between six months and two years earlier.
