Responsibility to share. A new study argues that keeping sperm out of ejaculate is key to developing a birth control drug for men. There is still years of research and testing to undergo, but scientists writing in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences note that experiments on mice prove the focus should be on blocking transport of the 1,500 sperm cells produced each second rather than previous attempts to halt their production.
