Suge Knight Charged with Murder

Suge Knight was charged with four felony counts on Monday, in connection with the death of Terry Carter, who was killed when Knight hit him with his car last week. The charges include murder and premeditated murder, and he faces life in prison if found guilty. Knight had his $2.2 million bail pulled after the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department decided he'd might flee before his first court appearance on Tuesday. “Possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past,” a spokeswoman said of the reasoning. Knight is being accused of running over two people, and killing one, during a film shoot in Compton last week. His lawyer claims the rap mogul was fleeing for his life.
