Marion “Suge” Knight is being sued by the widow of a man who was killed after he was hit by a vehicle driven by the rap mogul. Lilian Carter filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles on Wednesday against Knight as well rappers Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Universal Studios for failing to provide adequate security and negligence on the set of the upcoming film Straight Outta Compton. The widow of Terry Carter claims Universal was negligent by continuing filming after Dr. Dre allegedly told the production that Knight was dangerous. Knight, the former Death Row records mogul, has pleaded not guilty to killing Carter.
