Three suicide bombers stormed a police compound in Kabul, killing four police officers and five civilians on Saturday. The bombers were disguised as Afghan soldiers, but one started acting suspiciously as he approached the police station and an officer shot him. The second bomber then detonated his vest, killing nine people near the entrance, while the third slipped inside a building. The final bomber battled with police for two hours before he was killed. The assault came as President Hamid Karzai confirmed that the U.S. has held negotiations with Taliban groups.
