Police say the Fox Lake, Illinois, cop who staged his own suicide after stealing from the department may have also arranged a sham marriage between his son and his own alleged mistress. Authorities are questioning whether Joe Gliniewicz made his son, Donald, marry his own recently divorced mistress in order for the woman, identified as Kathryn Grams, to be able to get the son’s military benefits. Donald and Grams dissolved the marriage a year later. She would have received a $500 monthly stipend as a military spouse.
