The Supreme Court has rejected two appeals from gun-rights groups in California. Despite repeated calls for it to do so, the high court has not taken up a Second Amendment case since 2010. In Silvester v. Becerra, the plaintiff challenged the state’s 10-day waiting period to purchase a gun for those who already own firearms, and separately sought the court to use its “supervisory powers” to force the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals stop resisting previous Second Amendment decisions.
