Survivors From Overheated Texas Trailer to Be Turned Over to ICE
Twenty-two people who survived after spending hours inside an overheated trailer in Texas are being turned over to immigration officials and could be deported. Ten people died in the July incident in which the alleged human trafficking victims were found inside the trailer outside of a Walmart in Texas. Now, 22 of those who survived will no longer be deposed, the U.S. attorney’s office said. It is unclear whether the individuals will face deportation or why the depositions against the driver of the trailer, James Matthew Bradley Jr., were scrapped.
