Teens who survived a shooting at Marshall County High School in Kentucky on Tuesday said the shooter, a 15-year-old boy who will be charged with at least two counts of murder, was “determined” in his rampage. Two students—Bailey Nicole Holt and Preston Ryan Cope—were killed, and 18 others were injured in the attack. Students told reporters they were discussing basketball games and makeup when the gunfire erupted. “It was one right after another—bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,” said 16-year-old Alexandria Caporali. “You could see his arm jerking as he was pulling the trigger.” Caporali said she grabbed a friend who was too stunned to move and ran into a classroom, dropping to the floor. “No one screamed,” she said. “It was almost completely silent as people just ran.” She added, “He was determined. He knew what he was doing.”
