A suspect in the bombing of a Bangkok shrine that killed 20 people this month has been arrested by Thai police. He was arrested at an apartment in a Bangkok suburb and is also thought to be involved in the second bombing that came a day later. The man—who was initially described as a Turkish national, until police discovered that both his Turkish passports are fake—is not the man in a yellow T-shirt and glasses who was identified in surveillance video as the chief suspect, “but we believe he is part of the network which carried out the two bomb incidents,” police spokesman Lt. Gen. Prawut Thavornsiri said.
