Daron Dylon Wint, the man wanted in connection to the killings of a wealthy local family and their housekeeper, has been arrested in Washington, D.C., police said Thursday night. Police Chief Cathy Lanier confirmed the 34-year-old was apprehended in the northeast part of the city. Wint is suspected of killing 46-year-old Savvas Savopoulos, his wife, their 10-year-old son, and housekeeper this month in their home. Wint previously worked at Savopoulos’s company, American Iron Works. Authorities identified Wint by matching DNA found on the crust of pizza ordered the night police believe he held the family hostage.
