The Arizona man accused of killing six people in the Scottsdale area used a legally-owned pistol, Reuters reported. Dwight Lamon Jones did not originally buy the .48-caliber handgun, but he was allowed to have the weapon even though he was arrested for domestic violence in 2009, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Jones fatally shot himself on Monday in an Extended Stay hotel after allegedly killing six people in what investigators say may have been revenge for his bitter divorce. Steven Pitt, a famed forensic psychiatrist who testified in Jones’s divorce proceedings, was shot and killed outside of his office on Thursday. On Friday, two paralegals at the law firm of his ex-wife’s divorce attorney were also killed. Weeks before his alleged killing spree, Jones posted 18 videos on YouTube, claiming his ex-wife abused his son and that the courts conspired against him to give sole custody of their child to her.
