Suspected Bomb Found in Namibia

Scares

May have been bound for Germany.

A day after Germany issued a terror alert, a suspected bomb was found in a suitcase likely bound for an Air Berlin plane at Namibia’s airport Wednesday. German authorities say a scan showed batteries attached by wires to a fuse and a clock, but they are still investigating whether it was “a fake bomb” or actually could have detonated. An Air Berlin spokesmen, however, told the Associated Press that no explosives were found in the bag. After a delay, bags were rechecked and all planes departed for Germany.
