New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday that his Manhattan office had received a suspicious device, but a law enforcement official later said that only a letter was sent to his office. “There’s a number of devices. We wouldn’t be at all surprised if more devices show up. A device has been sent to my office, in Manhattan, which we were just informed about.” Cuomo said during the presser. “That device is also being handled as we speak.” A senior law enforcement official later told NBC New York that the item sent to the office was “letter” that reportedly “referenced the Proud Boys street brawl from earlier this month.” Suspicious devices addressed to former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were intercepted Wednesday. Another package containing an explosive device was sent to CNN’s New York offices. A “suspicious package” reportedly meant for former Attorney General Eric Holder was also sent to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s (D-FL) office building.
