Sydney Sweeney Fires Back at Body-Shamers Saying She Looks ‘Preggo’ and ‘Dumpy’

Actor Sydney Sweeney has shot back at those commenting negatively on her body, with celebrities showing their support for the star. Sweeney took to Instagram with a video compilation of hate comments directed at her. “Quite frumpy isn’t she,” read one comment in the video. Others questioned whether she was “preggo” and said she looked “dumpy.” Another added, “Let’s be real here, the body is not that incredible.” The video then takes a turn, showing clips of Sweeney working out, seemingly preparing for her role as boxer Christy Martin in a new biopic. As of Sunday afternoon, more than 527,000 users liked the post, which had no caption. Stars took to the comments to show support for Sweeney. “You’re such a badass. “his movie is gonna be 🔥.” fellow actor Glen Powell commented on the post. Lili Reinhart commented, “It’s always wild to see people publicly out-themselves as pieces of shit with comments like that. You look incredible and your dedication to your project is very inspiring.”
