The Arab League is giving Syria another ultimatum, issuing a Sunday deadline for the regime to end its bloody crackdown on protesters. Last month Syria ignored an Arab League deadline to allow observers into the country to monitor the unrest, which resulted in unprecedented economic sanctions against the country. The United Nations says at least 4,000 people have been killed in the crackdown since it began in March.
