Syrians are taking to the streets by the thousands, but this time it's the pro-government supporters. Demonstrators fought back against the Arab League's decision to suspend the country based on its ongoing crackdown on dissent. Right after the vote, regime supporters stormed the embassies of Qatar and Saudi Arabia and a Turkish diplomatic post. Syria will, however, still be allowed to participate in the Arab League games in December. “We never mix up politics with sport,” said the director of ceremonies.
