Tamerlan Read Radical Literature

Before the Boston Marathon bombings, Tamerlan Tsarnaev had apparently been consuming reading material that dealt with subjects from “the rape of our gun rights” to pro-Hitler white supremacy to claims that 9/11 and the Oklahoma City bombings were government conspiracies. A BBC investigation found the suspected bomber was in possession of this radical literature and that he and his younger brother, Dzhokhar, had been reading militant Islamist websites. “He [Tamerlan] just didn’t like America. He felt like America was just basically attacking all Middle Eastern countries … you know, trying to take their oil,” one friend said.
