Tara Subkoff Diagnosed with Brain Tumor

Art and fashion come together under unfortunate circumstances next week in New York at a silent auction to benefit designer Tara Subkoff, who has been diagnosed with a potentially fatal brain tumor. Although benign, the auction’s invitation says, the tumor requires immediate operation and up to a year of recovery by the Imitation of Christ designer. Solution? Band together and donate to Subkoff’s relief fund. Artists and plain old fashion-loving folk are urged to open their hearts and wallets while bidding on 200 pieces from the Imitation of Christ line, among other items.
