Taylor Swift showed her support for Kesha on Sunday by donating $250,000 to the pop singer after she faced a legal setback in her dispute with producer Dr. Luke. Kesha’s mother also confirmed the news in a tweet. Last week, a New York judge refused to release Kesha from her contract with Dr. Luke, whom she has accused of sexual abuse and refused to continue working with as mandated by her record contract. Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, and Iggy Azalea are among those who have spoken out in support of Kesha while Lady Gaga praised her “bravery” amid the very public trial.
