Activists are upset that various GOP lawmakers cut deals with Democrats on tax cuts, an arms-control treaty with Russia, the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, and a bill providing health care to 9/11 first responders rather than fight Democrats to the end. "Do I think they've recognized what happened on Election Day? I would say decisively no," Mark Meckler, co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots told The New York Times.
