Ted Cruz said Monday that he still supports Republican nominee Donald Trump for president. After reportedly reevaluating that choice when a lewd video of Trump surfaced over the weekend, Cruz says he still believes the GOP candidate will make a better leader than Hillary Clinton. During an appearance in Muleshoe, Texas, the senator told a TV station that Clinton would be “an absolute disaster.” He added, “Now my differences with Donald, I have articulated at great length during the campaign. And I tried all my might” during the primary contest.
